Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Buzztower ("we", "us", "our") is a small product studio based in Queen Creek, Arizona, USA. We design and build websites, web tools, and SaaS products for businesses, and we host and maintain some of those projects on our clients' behalf. This policy explains what we do with personal information we handle through buzztower.com and our own client accounts. A separately operated client website or product may have its own privacy policy and tools chosen by that client.

2. What we collect

We try to collect as little as possible. The information we actually use falls into a few buckets:

• Contact-form inquiries. When you reach out through the form on our site, we collect your name, email, company (if you share it), the kind of project you have in mind, and your message. We use this to reply and scope the work.
• Account & billing. If you become a client with an ongoing subscription, we store an account record (email, plan, status) and your Stripe customer ID. We do not see or store your credit card number, that lives with Stripe.
• Content you send us. Logos, photos, copy, and anything else you provide for your project.
• Messages you send us. Anything you submit through our contact form is kept so we can respond and follow up.
• Basic technical data. Our hosting systems may record your IP address, browser, referrer, and pages requested to operate the site and investigate problems or abuse. If you accept optional analytics, Google Analytics 4 also processes information about your visits as described below.

3. Why we collect it

• To respond to your inquiry and scope your project.
• To design, build, launch, host, and maintain your project.
• To process payments and send receipts (via Stripe).
• To email you about your project, your invoice, or your account (e.g. welcome email, magic-link sign-in, payment failures, scheduled maintenance).
• To respond to support requests and improve how we run the business.
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
• If you choose analytics, to understand visits and improve our website.

We do not sell your personal information. The providers listed below process information to provide their services.

4. Service providers we use

To run the business we rely on a small number of trusted vendors. They only get the information they need to do their job:

• Stripe, payments, subscription billing, and customer portal.
• Clerk, account sign-in and session management for client accounts.
• Resend, transactional email (contact-form notifications, welcome emails, magic links, billing notifications).
• Google Cloud Storage, secure storage for logos and files clients upload.
• Google Analytics 4, optional measurement of site visits and page views after you accept analytics cookies.
• Hosting and DNS providers, infrastructure that keeps our site and client projects online.

5. Cookies and analytics

We automatically display the analytics choice notice for visitors detected in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland. To estimate your country, your browser makes a request to Cloudflare, which receives your IP address as part of that request. We do not retain the lookup response. Elsewhere, or if the lookup fails, the notice stays hidden and analytics stays off unless you opt in through Cookie settings. Location estimates can be affected by VPNs.

Buzztower.com uses necessary storage and cookies for account sign-in and to remember your analytics choice. Optional Google Analytics 4 (GA4) helps us understand which pages people visit and how the site is used. If you accept, your browser loads Google's analytics script and sends page-view information to Google. Google may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, and may set analytics cookies. We do not load GA4 or send analytics page views before you accept. Analytics is not required to use this site.

Choose Accept analytics or Reject analytics in the notice. Both choices are available without signing in. Your choice is stored in your browser; clearing browser storage may make the notice appear again. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. If you withdraw consent, we stop future analytics collection in this browser and remove GA cookies we can access. This does not remove information already sent to Google. See Google's privacy policy for information about Google's data practices.

A client's separately operated site or product may use analytics, forms, booking widgets, or other tools selected by that client. Check that site or product's own privacy information for its visitor data practices. This policy covers our site and our own handling of client account information; it does not replace a client's separate policy.

6. How long we keep things

We keep inquiries, project materials, account information, and support records for as long as needed to respond, provide the service, resolve issues, or meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. The time varies with the record and the engagement. Backups may remain for a time after a record is removed from active systems. You can request deletion through our contact form, subject to records we still need to keep.

7. Security

We use HTTPS for this site and rely on providers such as Stripe for payments and Clerk for account sign-in. No internet service can promise perfect security.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we have about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your data (subject to legal and accounting retention requirements).
• Stop using your data for a specific purpose.
• Export a copy of your data.

9. Children

Buzztower is a B2B service for businesses. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us so we can look into it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
